Restoration of former Gamekeepers Lodge and 27 ground mounted solar panels in National Park

BEFORE PHOTOGRAPHS

Permission has been granted for extensions and alterations to a house in the 'Natural Zone' in the Peak District National Park.  By working with the Council Planners a successful planning permission has been secured.  The scheme includes the relocation of a detached garage, external alterations and an array of 27 solar panels on land to the rear.  In the Natural Zone no development is usually allowed, but an exceptional case was made including the fact that the scheme brings the building back into use as well as allowing it to be 'off-grid'.

This project recently appeared on Homes Under the Hammer.
