Mixed use comprising offices (B1), training/educational (D1) and community/leisure facilities (D2)

Permission was secured to convert a former office into a mixed use commercial and community scheme.  The building is now in active use and opens during the daytime as offices and training, but in the evening is used by the community for language and evening classes.

Update - During February 2020 planning permission was granted to operate a school within the ground floor of the building despite strong opposition form the highway engineer.  The way the Council approved the original planning consent for a mixture of uses enabled us to demonstrate that a school could already operate from within the building and this provided a strong 'fall back' situation.  The Council hadn't specifically restricted uses within the building through appropriately worded planning conditions.
